Linda has been involved in classical education since 1996. Along with her husband, Tim, she was numbered among the charter families that helped establish a classical school in Spokane during the mid-nineties where their three boys flourished in the classroom under the guidance of dedicated teachers in the classical method. Their daughter, MingMei (now at TCS), also attended three years at the school. During these years Linda worked at the school in various roles, both in the office and classroom. In 2013 they relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii where they carried on the classical tradition with homeschooling.  Linda had the privilege of serving as the founding director for the Diamond Head Classical Conversations Community on Oahu. God brought their family to Bellingham a couple of years later where we discovered TCS. Currently, she is delighted to be in the third-grade classroom. Linda loves to teach and she finds immense joy in helping children learn in a nurturing environment with a gospel-centered worldview.  In her free time, you will find her enjoying outdoor activities, including running and hiking. Amy and her husband Mike, an elder at Christ Church Bellingham, have been married 19 years and have 6 children.  A veteran of classical education, Amy has experienced every stage of learning while homeschooling her children over the last 12 years prior to joining Trinity.  While working as a tutor in Classical Conversations, she was able to lead a group of high school students, allowing her to experience the goal of a classical education: young citizens capable of critical independent thought and the rhetorical skills to glorify God and inspire others as they communicate those ideas.  This ignited in her a passion to encourage others in this manner of education.  Amy describes herself as the “lead learner” of her classroom.  She knows her enthusiasm for discovering all that God has made knowable across all subjects is contagious and hopes to pass on a desire to never stop learning to all those under her care.
